Manuel Casasola Merkle uploaded a video tutorial on rendering a rough stone by making use of tessellation and displacement in the Redshift plugin for Houdini. The artist will guide you through all the essential steps, transferring all the intricate details of a high polygon mesh to a displacement map to texture for the render engine to recreate the geometric detail on render time directly on the graphic card.
