Tutorial: Working With FLIP Nodes in Houdini 19.5

Simon Verstraete shared an in-depth tutorial on using improved Fluid nodes in the recently-released version of Houdini.

Technical Artist and Houdini guru Simon Verstraete has released a new tutorial on using the new SOP FLIP nodes in SideFX's recently-released Houdini 19.5. The new tutorial serves as a perfect introduction to the software's Fluid nodes and covers some of the basic techniques you can use for your projects.

In this video, Simon spoke about the SOP FLIP nodes and their features, showed how to set up basic simulations, and demonstrated multiple example projects made with this set of nodes. In each example, you will see the same node being used but with different settings and ideas behind them.
