Yet another hint at Black Flag Remake's impending arrival.
While rumors about an Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag remake being in development have been circulating for months, Ubisoft itself has yet to directly acknowledge its existence, let alone announce it officially with a trailer, release date, and other details. And while that's still the case, we now seemingly have the developer's indirect acknowledgement, as Ubisoft's latest update to Black Flag's Steam page appears to confirm the remake's impending arrival.

As spotted by The Hidden One, the game's Steam page has been updated to list several new features supposedly present in the game, including custom volume controls, stereo sound, surround sound, a Mouse-Only option, adjustable difficulty, and the ability to save anytime.
The thing is, the original version of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag includes none of these features, with The Hidden One and many others in the comments believing the only reasonable explanation for their addition is that the remake is indeed real and likely coming soon.
What's concerning, however, is that these features were added to the existing Black Flag Steam page, suggesting that Ubisoft might be planning to use the current listing for the remake and potentially delist the original version once the remake launches, similar to what Rockstar did with the GTA Trilogy demasters remasters and what Crytek recently did with the original Crysis.
And what do you think about Black Flag's page getting updated? Is it just a simple mistake, or a roundabout acknowledgment of the remake's existence? Should we be worried about one of the best Assassin's Creed installments potentially getting dumped down the memory hole? Tell us in the comments!
