Ultra-Realistic FPS Bodycam Reveals Advanced Self-Balancing Ragdolls
"Fully procedural. More alive than ever."
Over the years, we've kept a close eye on Reissad Studio's ultra-realistic first-person shooter game with a true body-camera view, from early gameplay reveals to recent updates that introduced new maps, refined mechanics, and a more polished Zombie Mode. Now, the developers are preparing another major update for Bodycam, with recent teasers showcasing a "brand new self-balancing ragdoll system".
"Operators dynamically fight to recover balance and protect themselves after impacts in real-time. Fully procedural. More alive than ever," the caption reads.
Reissad Studio clarified that the footage is an early showcase rather than the final implementation, but player reactions seem pretty positive, with many comparing it to the Euphoria physics featured in Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption.
A couple of months ago, Reissad Studio published its 2026 roadmap for Bodycam, highlighting a major Spring update that includes new ragdolls and more. That suggests it should arrive in the foreseeable future, at least in some form.
In the meantime, you can check out our recent interview with Luca Dassier, where he discussed the growth of Reissad Studio and the ongoing development of the game.
