Unity Tool For Prop Placement With Physics Simulation
Ideal for set dressing and environment art.
Adam Napper, the developer behind RealBlend, an alternative to the deprecated Polybrush, has released a new tool called RealTransforms, aiming to bring a more physical approach to scene dressing in Unity.
Instead of manually adjusting objects until they stop floating or clipping, RealTransforms brings physics-assisted Move, Rotate, Drop, and Arrange tools directly into the Unity Scene view, using familiar hotkeys and editor controls so placement feels fast and intuitive. You can also select multiple objects and clump, spread, space, level, or randomize rotation, so it's easy to build believable clutter, shelves, piles, and prop layouts in seconds.

RealTransforms uses Unity's built-in PhysX simulation for editor placement, so for best results, a desktop-class machine is recommended. It also comes with detailed documentation, and if you're interested in building something similar for your own project, the developer has shared some resources in this Reddit post.
