UNSEEN's Parkour-Filled Yokai Hunting Game Kemuri Looks Epic in Gameplay Reveal

Kemuri is the first title of the UNSEEN studio, which was created by Ikumi Nakamura, and is the Creative Director of the game.

In the past, we shared part of the camera work the Animation Director did for the announcement trailer for the game in 2023. This time, the first gameplay trailer was released, and it looks very cool.

Kemuri is an online co-op action PvE game that also allows you to play on your own. You'll become a Yokai Hunter who uses the FOXWINDOW, a power that gives the character the ability to see what ordinary people cannot, and you'll have to discover what is happening in the Kemuri City.

You'll also make contracts with yokai to wear their powers as Possession Apparel, and be able to change the appearance, combat style, and the way your character moves through the city.

I feel like the game is a mix of the Arcane style, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Tokyo Ghoul with the characters' masks. It's scheduled to be released in 2027 for PS5 and PC.
