Developer Youna Kang has recently shared a glimpse at the future of VTubers by showing CodeMiko, a digital avatar and a popular Unreal Engine 5-powered VTuber and Twitch streamer, conduct an "outdoors IRL" stream.
During a recent couple of streams, Youna demonstrated CodeMiko's brand-new model, boasting a shorter hairstyle and Jill Valentine's iconic outfit, and showed the VTuber explore a digital 3D jungle environment and meet its inhabitants, describing the experience as a simulation of an IRL outdoors stream. "This is an Unreal Engine 5 demo showing off how far we can get with Vtuber streaming using the tech that's available today," commented Youna on Twitter.
