Wargaming and Epic Games Join Forces to Bring Unreal Engine Mobile Games to Market

The two companies have entered into a partnership agreement that will give developers an easy road to market under the new Wargaming Mobile publishing initiative.

As part of the launch of Wargaming Mobile, Wargaming has signed a partnership agreement with Epic Games to bring Unreal Engine 4 free-to-play mobile games to market.

Under the agreement, qualified teams using Unreal Engine 4 to build mobile games are eligible to use Wargaming Mobile’s comprehensive publishing solution as a springboard to instant market presence and consumer awareness.

As part of the Wargaming Mobile Publishing Program, Wargaming and Epic will provide participating Unreal Engine developers with added benefits, including:

  • Access to the Unreal Development Network (UDN), Epic’s premium support service;
  • Opportunities within a range of co-marketing and promotional programs; and
  • All publishing costs, including royalty payments, covered by Wargaming.

“We are excited to join Wargaming in this partnership to support and nurture talented mobile developers using Unreal Engine 4,” said Mike Gamble, European territory manager at Epic. “Our most notable successes on mobile are leaders in the online space, and we look forward to seeing even more teams leverage UE4’s power and flexibility to bring outstanding free-to-play content to mobile platforms.”

“Together, Epic Games and Wargaming Mobile are looking forward to seeing more great Unreal Engine 4 based titles on mobile platforms published worldwide, with amazing opportunities for success provided by the new Wargaming Mobile Publishing Program,” said Andrey Zimenko, Head of Mobile Publishing, WG Labs.

Wargaming Mobile invites mobile development teams interested in exploring publishing opportunities to submit information about their projects at publishing.wgmobile.net.
