Work-in-Progress Combat Animation Made in Blender

Armin Halac shared a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming combat animation.

3D Animator and Rigger Armin Halac has shared a look at the amazing combat animation currently being made by the artist using Blender. The animation depicts Nnema, Armin's original character initially created for the artist's book on rigging characters in Blender, doing some neat acrobatics and martial arts movements in a stylish and fluid way. According to the artist, the entire project is still WIP and will be further refined and improved in the near future.

Back in May and early June, the author also shared a series of posts demonstrating how Nnema was rigged and showcasing ActionPoser, Armin's rigging add-on for Blender, the main feature of which is the creation of action constraint-driven rigging.

This project includes assets, maps, materials, Blueprints, and effects created in the Unreal Engine. Each asset was created for realistic AAA quality visuals, style, and budget.
