Juan Hernández knows how to work with creatures.

I remember when I first saw the cute Experiment 626 from Lilo & Stitch back in the day – whether you're a child or an adult, it leaves an impression, and you enjoy its cuteness.

Visual Development Artist Juan Hernández decided to recreate the creature with ZBrush, Blender, and Substance 3D Painter, and his version is as adorable as the original, maybe even more so.

"I thought it was both a great design and technical challenge, specially with the retracting arms and the groom together. I tried to reverse engineer the original design and looked for small elements that could bring realism while staying faithful to the original," Hernández said.

Whichever render you choose, you want to hug this little furry alien and never let go, and this is a testament to Hernández's beautiful work.
