3D Artist Creates Stylized Blood Material in UE5 Inspired by Resident Evil 9

The setup is a test made with a Custom Node.

It's often our favorite games or films that inspire us to create something. Technical VFX Artist Marcos Ivan Rebollo drew on Capcom's Resident Evil 9 and created this stylized blood material using Unreal Engine 5.

The eye-catching material looks vivid and has a "slightly grotesque look," as the artist describes it. As explained by Rebollo, the procedural setup is now a first test made with a Custom Node, using several noise functions to generate the material details.
