Yan Ru, a renowned Environment/Lighting Artist who specializes primarily in setting up highly-detailed 3D scenes in Unreal Engine, continues to experiment with real-time rendering by showcasing Palais Garnier, a majestic game environment and a thorough 3D recreation of the world's most famous opera house's Grand Staircase, created to explore the possibilities of creating game environments.
Moreover, the Palais Garnier environment features full dynamic lighting and projection. You can observe the lighting and shadows change in real-time through the changing sunlight, the mirror ball shot from a gun, and the lamp knocked down in the videos embedded above. On top of that, the scene supports NVIDIA's DLSS tech, allowing Yan to run it at 160-210 FPS on an RTX 4090 GPU.
