3D Character Artist Shares His Work for the Kiriko Сupid Character Skin in Overwatch

Take another closer look at the character creation of Overwatch. Did you like the Kiriko Cupid skin?

Daniil "Split" Voskressenski shared on his ArtStation the 3D work he did on the Kiriko Cupid skin in Overwatch. In the lore of the game, Kiriko is Japanese and is aided by her kitsune spirit. In her early years, she trained with Genji and Hanzo.

Kiriko is a medic support hero who made her debut when Overwatch 2 first launched back in October 2022. Of course, nowadays, it's just called Overwatch.

The artist explained that he was responsible for the high-poly and low-poly models, the skin texture, and the weapon. Blizzard provided the concept. Generally speaking, Kiriko is considered an S-tier hero in Overwatch and is one of the best characters in the game.

Here are some shots of the modeling:

"Split" also shared some more cinematic images of the skin in-game as well:

Daniil "Split" Voskressenski participated in the creation of the Kiriko Inari skin, too. For this one, he did the high-poly, low-poly models and the skin texture.

You can also check out other projects of his that we have shared, like the humanoid bat character he did, or the two expressive female portraits he made.
