Sam Lake, Creative Director and Writer at Remedy Entertainment, has shared a photo of a part of the script for Alan Wake 2. It's only "some" of the game but it is massive, which is not surprising considering Lake called the story of the sequel "a monster" with "a ton of pages" before.
In the comments, Sam Barlow, the writer behind Her Story, Immortality, and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, jokingly asked: "How do we know you didn’t just print out wikipedia?" To which Lake replied with a quote from the original Alan Wake:
"The unanswered mystery is what stays with us the longest, and it’s what we’ll remember in the end."
Alan Wake 2 is expected to be Remedy's biggest and most ambitious project. The game is already playable from start to finish and will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S this year.
