Daniel Henefalk, Senior Environment Artist at Embark Studios, the studio behind the recently released extraction shooter ARC Raiders, showcased his work on creating vegetation for the game's world. The plant assets were brought to life using Blender, RealityScan, Photoshop, and Unreal Engine.
Some of the assets, as the several ones that you can see below, are the first sets crafted years ago. As explained by Daniel Henefalk, the scan data was captured by the original crew of Andrew Svanberg Hamilton, Pontus Ryman, and Robert Berg. The artist shatred that the largest of the Eucalyptus is still one of his favorites in the game. Most of these assets are present in The Dam Battlegrounds and Space Port, and some are reused across the game.
