Assassin's Creed Continues Under New Leadership
"Creatives who shaped AC’s past and will forge its future."
We know that, aside from two Far Cry projects, Ubisoft is working on several Assassin's Creed games, but now, the company announced new leadership to guide the development of the AC franchise.
Martin Schelling is now Head of AC Brand, while Jean Guesdon takes the role of Head of Content, and François De Billy becomes Head of Production Excellence.
All of them are seasoned veterans: Schelling has been with Ubisoft for 22 years as a producer and currently its Chief Production Officer. He will lead the franchise team, as well as the overall strategy, long‑term vision, and development of Assassin's Creed, according to the studio.
Guesdon, previously a Creative Director of multiple AC games, will "lead the creative direction of the franchise, support ongoing projects, and help shape the franchise’s future while ensuring it remains true to its DNA."
De Billy, Production Manager and Director in the past, will support Ubisoft teams "by strengthening production practices and execution across the franchise."
The three of them have a lot of experience with the series and will hopefully bring it back to its glory.
