Ubisoft Working on Two New Far Cry & Several Assassin's Creed Games

Ubisoft works on several titles related to the Assassin's Creed series, along with two Far Cry projects, the CEO confirms.

In a recent interview, the company's co-founder and CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that it has several titles in the works. "We have a solid pipeline underway across Vantage Studios," Guillemot said, responding to the question about the Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six Siege, and Far Cry franchises. The CEO specified that Ubisoft works on several titles under the Assassin's Creed brand, with both single-player and multiplayer experiences. As for Far Cry, the company prepares "two very promising projects."

Ubisoft's CEO also said that Rainbow Six "is coming back strongly," with daily player count passing 2.5 million. The company has also outlined an ambitious Year 11 roadmap and confirmed that Rainbow Six Mobile will launch worldwide on February 23, 2026. Overall, the CEO concluded that with Vantage Studios established, Ubisoft has "early evidence that the new operating model better empowers the teams to be fully focused on their franchises."

As for the two upcoming Far Cry titles, they are codenamed Blackbird, which is planned as a mainline title, and Maverick, an extraction shooter. Reportedly, the games will have differences compared to the established "Far Cry formula," with new gameplay loops and movement systems.
