Well, that was fast.
Just yesterday, we talked about the fantastic feat by speedrunner Mae, who managed to beat Baldur's Gate 3 in 10 minutes, setting a new Any% world record. Today, we have another fascinating run to report.
What do you think are the milestones players want to reach as soon as possible? Apparently, racy scenes are one of them. Once again, Mae was the first to take this record, rushing to Lae'zel's arms in just 7 minutes and 54 seconds. Very impressive, especially for such a short performance.

Whoever complains about Baldur's Gate 3 being too horny, look at the numbers: the (kinda) whole game can be beaten in 10 minutes, and it takes 8 of them to finally bed someone – that's a lot.
Well, a sizeable portion of this time was taken by a Grove fight, so there's that. Mae used the ever-favorite jumping technique to reach the place, talked to Zorru, and then promptly received Lae'zel's gratitude.

I must say this warrior is much more lenient than Astarion, who rejected romantic advances from almost 100,000 players.
If you'd like to keep an eye on new speedrun achievements, check out this site. Mae's latest run is humbly staying under the Romance% category. There is also a Bear% one, so I'm looking forward to this record.
