Breakdown: Creating Cinematic Dialogue Scene In Unreal Engine 5.6

Arno Schmitz shared his workflow for a dark fantasy project using Unreal Engine 5 and a simple home mocap setup.

Arno Schmitz, Technical Art Director at Guerrilla Games, has published a complete workflow breakdown for creating a dialogue scene for a game project titled Hellward, covering the entire process from mocap through to final polish. He recorded all performances himself, using Live Link for facial animation and QuickMagic for body mocap.

In the video, he discussed MetaHuman, voice performance, facial and body capture, animation, cinematic camera work, and more, sharing practical techniques and insights he discovered along the way.
