Buckshot Roulette Dev Unveils Weird Collection Of Minigames You'll Get Hooked On
More than 20 indie developers have teamed up for Volume.art, and it's free to play.
If you're reading this late at night, sorry in advance: there goes your sleep schedule. Volume.art looks like a bunch of polished-up Flash games, and it's the kind of website you'll open for five minutes and somehow still be playing an hour later.
Hosted by Buckshot Roulette developer Mike Klubnika, this collection includes more than 25 bizarre volume-control systems created by various indie developers. Each one works differently, leaving you to figure out how to operate it, with inspiration mainly drawn from the strange UI designs popularized in the Reddit community r/baduibattles.
Development began in June and ran for two months before the project was released on October 1. You can play Volume.art directly in your browser or download it for free. Try it here.
If you're looking for another creative website to lose yourself in, this one by Hugo Duprez is a great place to start when you need to unwind:
