CD Projekt Red partnered with modder HalkHogan to work on the upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered, and HalkHogan's work will be a part of the enhanced game experience.
The modder shared the news on Nexus Mods, on the page of their project, The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition, which aims to improve and rework the game's assets. As HalkHogan shares, their work will be officially available in the game when the remaster releases on September 29, and HDRP will no longer be needed.
"Almost all in-game characters, monsters, animals, vegetation, armors and equipment for Geralt & Roach and a large part of the environment have been reworked and I've put a lot of effort into ensuring the highest quality," HalkHogan explains.
This isn't the first collaboration between CDPR and HalkHogan. Their HD Reworked Project was already included in The Witcher 3's next-gen update as one of several community mods the studio adopted.
