CD PROJEKT RED Showed Which Mods Will Work With The Witcher 3 Next-Gen

The company made a list of the most popular mods and marked compatible.

The next-gen version of The Witcher 3 is coming on December 14, and, naturally, some of the fan-favorite mods will not work with it. Focused on "making updates as good as possible", CD PROJEKT RED made a list of some of the most popular mods and marked which of them are compatible with the upgrade and which are not. The first in the document are All Quest Objectives On Map, Weight limit, and Fast Travel from Anywhere mods.

The studio is going to release a new version of the command line tools for modders (Modkit) adapted for the new version and an updated version of TW3 WolvenKit. Modders will also get support from CPR's "team of modding experts".

And this is not all: the company is including several popular mods in the update, reworked and optimized, with the creators featured in the credits of the game.

"There was even a case when a dev got so engrossed in tinkering when including a mod that he ended up simply remaking that particular aspect of the game. So, in a way, the game comes with some mods already included."

I want to know if Brothers In Arms will work. I'm guessing it's very unlikely as it contains over a thousand bug fixes and tweaks. Maybe the devs have incorporated those fixes into the next gen update; that is my hope.
