CDPR Revealed The Witcher 4 Release Window
You'll have to wait a while.
CDPR
CDPR is busy with their sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and a whole slew of Witcher games, but one of them is, arguably, more anticipated than the others, and we now know when we'll see it. Well, approximately.
The Witcher 4, CDPR's "biggest, boldest, and most ambitious game", is targeting 2028, as the company's joint CEO, Michał Nowakowski, announced today.
But you won't get bored waiting for the next epic story, this time featuring Ciri, as there's Songs of the Past, an expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, coming in 2027.
The next Witcher promises to be extraordinary, but even its developers don't know how to top the Witcher 3 success. But they definitely have the drive and inspiration, as they want to release the next trilogy in just 6 years.
Upcoming gamescom will have something else to share about one of the Witcher games, so keep an eye on it.
