CG Artist Shares a Cute 3D Recreation of Popeye's Boat
I can definitely imagine the iconic sailor there.
Roshel Amuruz, a CG Artist, shared a 3D recreation she made of Popeye's boat on her social media. She explained that it was based on Sony Pictures Animation's concept from the canceled Popeye movie.
Amuruz added that she did this project while taking Raquel Ribeiro's 3D modeling mentorship, and that she had the help of Travis Bourbeau and Hannah Kang with the lighting and look dev.
The project took the artist around 11 weeks to finish. She mentioned that she wanted to add as many details as possible from the concept, while adding her own touch.
