Talented Creature Animator Mrinal Soni, whose prehistoric creature animation for Hashbane Interactive's Instinction game we spotlighted multiple times on 80 Level, like this Styxosaurus, Sarcosuchus, Smilodon, Carnotaurus, and others, has now shared a closer look at his Deinonychus.
Animation is impossible to imagine without references, and since birds are direct descendants of many dinosaurs, they are the perfect models to base the work on their behavior. This model was made by Vikas Kumar Prajapati, textured by Nevil Thummar, and rigged by Vimlesh Kumar, with feedback and art direction from Sanjay Singh and Jade Saunders.
