3D Artist Aysu Hoşcan, whose marvelous painterly works we featured many times, unveiled a new stunning hand-painted artwork – a lantern crafted in the Arcane-inspired style.
Aysu Hoşcan stays true to her distinctive painterly style, this time impressing with expressive brushstrokes that create the feel of a genuine 3D painting. The effect is further reinforced by a WIP of the 3D model, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the work.
The artist shared that she had been experimenting with painted normal maps and decided to push the technique further with hand-painted textures. The work was created with Substance 3D.
