Dylan Kowalski combined seven years of studying 3D art into one gorgeous project.
Dylan Kowalski, a 3D Character/Concept Artist, has presented what is arguably one of the most elaborate hard-surface 3D character sculpts ever created, bringing together seven years of digital art study into a single stunning project.
Titled MEKANIK DOLL X, the piece features hundreds of striking details sure to grab your attention and was created for Dylan's upcoming tutorial/breakdown, which will showcase the full production process behind the character and is expected to be released in late 2025 to early 2026. As for the software, the project was built using ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Marvelous Designer, and Arnold.
Additionally, the artist shared not just one, but two "WIP dumps," offering a sneak peek at the workflows behind the sculpt, bound to be explained in the forthcoming tutorial.
