Ian Curtis shared a new project.

XR developer Ian Curtis showcased this mind-blowing off-axis projection demo, which tracks where your head is, and according to the data, the scene's perspective changes. The creator also shared technical details of the setup.

The developer explained that he used a scene layout in Blender, exported it as a GLB file, and then converted the file into a detailed Gaussian splat via World Labs. Three.js was used as the engine, while MediaPipe handled real-time face tracking.

The developer shared that the further plans include adding a character that the viewers can move around in the environment.

You can explore the real-time head-tracking 3D on GitHub.
