Check Out WIP Dynamic Water Sim Created for Cozy City-Builder

Björn Ottosson shared updates on the development of Island Architect.

Game Developer Björn Ottosson shared a glimpse of his work on the dynamic water simulation for his relaxing building game, Island Architect.

According to the developer, the simulation is still a work in progress but is already functional in its current state. Further plans include adding details to waterfalls and creating such intricate elements as aqueducts.

Island Architect is a cozy city builder with coastal European vibes, where you can sculpt terrain, including caves and sea arches, and build curved structures. The game is created using a custom engine. In our interview with the developer, he explains why he made this choice and shares more details about the game's development.
