Technical/VFX Artist Dylan Browne, whose incredible Unreal Engine-powered projects have been featured multiple times here on 80 Level, has announced the release of Cinematic Droplets, a great asset pack for Unreal Engine 5.1 that will help you to set up realistic-looking water droplets in close up shots of cinematics.
Created with Houdini, the droplets are high-density meshes, which according to the author work best when used with ray-traced translucency or path tracing. The collection includes 100 single droplet variations, 20 pre-scattered variations, and a simple water droplet material designed for path tracing.
