Dragon Ball Series' Son Goku Made in 3D

The model was made in Maya and rendered with Unreal Engine.

Florian Neumann, a renowned 3D Game Artist and Lead Artist at Rabcat Game Art, presented a stunning new project that blurs the line between 2D and 3D. This time, the artist showcased an impressive 3D model of Son Goku, the protagonist of the Dragon Ball series, drawn in a traditional anime-like art style. According to the artist, the model was made entirely in Maya and rendered with Unreal Engine.

What's more, the author also provided a short breakdown of the project, explaining the working process behind it, showing how shadows and outlines were set up, and more. You can check out the full breakdown by clicking this link.

We highly recommend visiting Florian's ArtStation page to check out more amazing projects. Also, don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.

This project includes assets, maps, materials, Blueprints, and effects created in the Unreal Engine. Each asset was created for realistic AAA quality visuals, style, and budget.
