Experimenting With Soft Body Simulations in Cinema 4D

Hirokazu Yokohara impresses us yet again with a newly-conducted experiment.

3D Artist and Generalist Hirokazu Yokohara, who just recently demonstrated the results of an experiment with Apple's RoomPlan API, has uploaded yet another outstanding demo that showcases the artist's tests with soft body simulations in Cinema 4D.

In this demo, the author showed how C4D's recently-updated Unified Simulation System can be used to easily deform various objects, giving them soft body capabilities and allowing one to manipulate them in real-time. According to Hirokazu, thanks to Vertex Maps and Fields, the system is highly customizable and provides various control methods.
