"We wouldn't have released if we had that."
Fallout: London
Fallout: London, a highly anticipated modification for Fallout 4, finally launched after an unexpected delay due to significant compatibility issues with the Fallout 4's next-gen update. Despite encountering a few bugs that block the gameplay, the mod, which offers a fascinating exploration of a post-apocalyptic London, has been well-received by players.
Project Manager Dean Carter recently discussed the game's launch and their plans for addressing reported issues in an interview with VG247. According to Carter, a major bug, referred to as the "train crash crash," which made some players' loading broken, surprisingly hadn't occurred during their testing:
“We never had that. We wouldn't have released if we had had that. None of our testers had that. So we're not sure if something actually happened with the final upload or something, but it’s those sort of ones that have been a bit of a surprise to us.”

Though the modification is experiencing some crashing issues, Carter shared that the launch has actually gone better than expected.
"So, in terms of the release itself, it’s actually gone a lot better than we thought it would,” Carter said, “Not gonna lie, as with any development project, you put your heart and soul into anything and eventually you sort of realise, no matter how hard you've worked, everything's held together with duct tape. So, it’s held together better than we thought, but lots of the issues that we've had or people have been reporting rather, they’re not ones that we had.”

The developers are now planning a hotfix to improve stability and address other issues, including an inclusion of Buffout 4, which is expected to help stability and overall performance.
