More artists continue to reveal their work on Amazon's Fallout TV series, including Vault 33 environments and iconic Yao Guai and Radroach designs.
A little while ago we shared original 3D model designs of Fallout 4's Gulper, reimagined by Film Concept Artist Thomas du Crest for Amazon's Fallout TV series. Thomas du Crest showcased his work on the show once again, revealing he was in charge of another well-known creature design, Yao Guai, a vicious mutated descendant of the American black bear.
Similar to Gulper, this Yao Guai was recreated with Blender and ZBrush, although the process was more straightforward, as this design is much closer to the original game, according to the artist.

As it's been over a month since the Fallout TV series premiered, more artists started sharing their work on the show online.
CG Artist Jordon Gonzales was responsible for creating the series' famous Radroach's final model and the first pass of textures with ZBrush, Maya, and Substance 3D Painter. You can check out the full breakdown reel by Refugee VFX on top of the article.
Sarah Hudson Semple is another artist who worked on the show along with a Virtual Production team at Magnopus to create some of Lucy MacLean's Vault 33 environments. These were displayed on a large LED volume wall and acted as set extensions for the physical sets in the Vault Farm and Vault Door scenes.
Utilizing Maya, Unreal Engine, ZBrush, and Substance 3D Painter, the artist modeled, textured, and laid out the assets in the Vault Door area, the Vault elevator shaft, and the Vault farm.
