Fight Supernatural Entities in This 90s Anime-Inspired Psychological Horror
Signal Veil is a dark survival horror where you uncover the secrets of Nishikawa High School using a phone that sees more than humans do.
Signal Veil, developed by Serafini Productions, is a chilling, retro anime-inspired survival horror where you unleash the darkest secrets of Nishikawa High School and the emotional trauma it hides.
In the game, you play as Aki Mizuno, a teenage girl who inherits a mysterious phone after her mother's disappearance. The device reacts to supernatural entities born from deep psychological wounds, guiding you through the world of horrifying spirits and revealing disturbing memories from the past.

Your main tool in the game is similar to the one you navigate the world with in the latest Silent Hill game, Townfall. Your cellphone in Signal Veil helps you see the evil entities around. However, in this game, you need to expose them using the phone's flash before fighting them. Because all these creatures are the lovechildren of immense psychological trauma, you need to use their weaknesses to destroy them.

What makes the game even more eerily realistic is that you have limited resources on your journey through mental chaos, and your character's emotional state gets worse with every encounter. In essence, Aki fights her own demons while battling terrifying spirits, trying to keep her sanity afloat while navigating traumatic memories.
Together with Aki, you will wander the endless, dimly lit corridors of Nishikawa High School, where emotional trauma is seeping through the walls. There are untold secrets around every corner, and one of them is Aki's own.

Signal Veil's release date is still to be announced. If you feel like a 90s anime-style psychological horror full of gore is something you'd love to explore, you can wishlist the game on Steam.
