Ghostbusters' Protagonist Recreated in 3D Using ZBrush & UE5.6

A high-quality work rendered with Unreal Engine 5.6 by Johnny Xiao.

3D Modeler Johnny Xiao paid homage to the beloved ghost-hunting comedy franchise, Ghostbusters, and showcased this stunning portrait of one of the main characters, Egon Spengler, as portrayed by Harold Ramis.

The creator shared that the artwork was inspired by heart-warming childhood memories of watching the Ghostbusters movies, and Spengler was one of his favorite characters. Xiao briefly explained how the portrait was created and shared that he utilized Maya and Marvelous Designer for modeling, ZBrush for the high-res sculpt, and Unreal Engine 5.6 for the final rendering, which allowed the artist to explore rendering workflows in the latest version of the software. The 3D model is game-ready and optimized for real-time rendering.
