Jae-Yong Bae has revealed a new highly-detailed character model.
3D Character Artist Jae-Yong Bae, whom you might remember for the Old Hunter project shared back in 2022, continues the series of realistic-looking character models with yet another impressive piece.
This time, the creator unveiled Gold Mage, a detailed 3D portrait of a majestic magician inspired by Freelance Illustrator Heewon Kim's eponymous illustration. According to Jae, the 3D take on the character was made using an assortment of 3D software, including 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Marvelous Designer, FiberShop, and Marmoset Toolbag. To create the character's hairstyle, the artist utilized Ornatrix, Ephere's hair-creation plug-in available for Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, and Unreal Engine.
