A combination of Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and Texturing XYZ's materials was used to bring the character to life.
Game/Character Artist YJM, who specializes primarily in realistic digital portraits, has finally unveiled Luna, a lifelike 3D model of a beautiful Asian girl first showcased in its work-in-progress iteration a few months ago.
According to the creator, the final version of the portrait was set up using a combination of such 3D applications as Maya, ZBrush, R3DS Wrap, Substance 3D Painter, and Mari, as well as materials from the TexturingXYZ library. Additionally, the author utilized Maya's instancing tool XGen to create the character's ultra-realistic hairstyle.
"During this time, I have continued to learn and iterate on this work, hoping to achieve my desired results," commented the creator. "It has been rewarding and more importantly, honed my mind. I would like to thank Mingyu Wu and the friends who have helped me and solved my doubts during this time."
