Check out this fantastic environment created by the SideFX team.
The SideFX team has released a fantastic in-house tech demo called Project Titan. The demo was designed to test Houdini's procedural workflows while creating a 3D environment that leverages the latest technologies in Unreal Engine 5. Additionally, the team had used KitBash3D's textured models to support Houdini's procedural tools.
"Project Titan has a wide range of tools that work inside the Unreal editor using the Houdini Engine plug-in. With these tools working in the editor, environment artists can build levels faster while maintaining artistic control and directability," comments the team.
Over the next few months, the team promises to keep releasing discussions and tutorials which will explore production techniques used for Project Titan. According to SideFX, they want to provide a deeper insight into how Houdini and Unreal Engine 5 can work together.
