Protect Bizarre Stray Animals in This Survival Horror Animal Shelter Simulator
In Adopt Me Please, you have to take in only the good boys and girls, because sometimes, true monsters in disguise come knocking on the shelter's door.
Adopt Me Please, developed by Joyever Studio, is an atmospheric, hand-drawn shelter simulator that looks like a cute Tamagotchi-inspired game, but it's an actual survival horror. While your job is to take in lost, hungry, scared little creatures and shower them with love and care, some of them are pure evil. Along with the actual strays, Mimics, barbarous monsters in disguise, will try to melt your heart and get into the Softlight shelter.
As a shelter employee, you have several important missions to complete daily. During the day, you need to inspect animals, feed them, review adoption requests from potential pet owners, and match the ones you approve with the inhabitants of your shelter.

At night, new arrivals flood the place, and you need to decide which ones get a bed and a meal and which ones get rejected. Although they all look irresistibly adorable, you have to watch out for strange behavior and other alarming signs to avoid letting the Mimics in. Once a creature raises suspicion, you need to send it to the Mimic Response Unit before it mutates inside the shelter.
Every stamp of approval on an adoption paper or an animal checklist carries a risk. If you overlook something, a disaster will follow. Mimics who make it into the shelter attack the rest of the animals at night. Adoptions that were not a good match will turn into massive scandals all over the news. Or worse, if you match someone with a Mimic, they might not survive the first night with the new pet.
