Recently, Ampere Analysis has reported that Stellar Blade's demo, which was launched on PS5 on March 29, attracted nearly double the daily active users (DAUs) compared to the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo at its peak.

Ampere Analysis estimates that Stellar Blade's demo reached a maximum of around 690,000 DAUs, while Final Fantasy VII Rebirth had 380,000 users. Following the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release, DAUs surged to 2.21 million. If this trend continues, analysts predict that Stellar Blade's release version could exceed 4.01 million daily users.

While Shift Up has not shared public demo metrics, they mentioned that some players have already invested over 50 hours in the game.

"We're so grateful for your love of our game. To enjoy the main game properly though, please go easy on the demo. 50+ hours of demo play...we're scared," shared the team being Shift Up on Twitter.
