Soothing nature visualized by 3D Environment Artist Bow Qin.
Take a moment to relax while watching this stunning nature scene created by 3D Environment Artist Bow Qin, also known as B.O.W.
The artist meticulously crafted this fascinating scene with sunlit woods, an appealing color palette, and mirror-like reflections on the water using 3ds Max, SpeedTree, and Unreal Engine 5. A light breeze, cascading waterfall splashes, and lifelike lighting create an atmospheric and visually pleasing environment.
Bow Qin shared that the scene was an experiment to make a valley terrain built with Nanite static meshes; moss is generated on the object's surface using SpeedTree. The lighting, made using Lumen HWRT, has one directional light and one skylight. The artist also used DLSS super-resolution instead of the default TSR and explained that it gives a clearer picture and eliminates artifacts from leaves animating in the wind.
Bow Qin showcased many breathtaking environments, including these winter setups, another photorealistic winter forest environment with stunning lighting, a rainy forest scene, a mossy forest environment, and more:
