Proletarian X, a 3D Artist and self-described CG aficionado, has paid tribute to one of the most iconic RPGs of all time, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, with a breathtaking high-quality 3D recreation of Balmora, the city where every Nerevarine likely spent a substantial amount of time.
Inviting outlanders to walk the familiar streets and alleys of Vvardenfell's second-largest settlement once again, the reimagined Balmora was created as a personal project in the artist's free time. According to Proletarian X's ArtStation post, the city was made 100% by hand using Maya and ZBrush for modeling, Substance 3D Painter/Designer for texturing, and Unreal Engine 5 for rendering, along with the engine's Nanite and Lumen tools.
