3D Character Artist Teemu Hartikainen has presented Shagûrn, an incredibly detailed 3D take on a female orc originally envisioned as an expression study but ultimately turned into a fully polished 3D character concept.
According to the creator, the character model was sculpted from scratch in ZBrush and rendered with the latest Marmoset Toolbag 5, where the artist took advantage of such new features as UDIM workflows and groom hair rendering tools. Additionally, Teemu utilized Blender, Substance 3D Painter, Mari, and Maya's instancing tool XGen to bring the creature to life.
