This Editor For Godot Engine Lets You View Multiple Scenes At Once
GDstudio is now available in alpha.
MrModez's GDstudio, which we featured last month, is now available in alpha for Windows, with Mac and Linux support planned for a later stage. GDstudio is a new editor for Godot projects, designed with a focus on performance and a better user experience.
The biggest change is that you're no longer restricted to a single view at a time. In the Godot Editor, you typically switch between 2D, 3D, and Script, and the inspector only displays one selection at a time. In GDstudio, each scene, script, or resource opens in its own tab, which can be freely arranged and even moved to separate monitors.
According to the developer, most features are already working properly, and he's currently improving the code to maximize compatibility with as many editor add-ons as possible. He also recommends backing up your projects or using source control when working with the editor.

Right now, GDstudio supports projects created with Godot Engine 4.6.3. The editor also comes with the C# module enabled by default. With Godot 4.7 now released, MrModez plans to begin migrating to the new version:
