Iiro Lääveri's latest character piece really blurs the line between 2D and 3D.
In ten years of our website's existence, we've seen our fair share of 3D artworks that look 2D and vice versa, but this mind-blowing 3D character model unveiled recently by Iiro Lääveri is well and truly in a league of its own.
Depicting a beautiful Asian woman, the model just utterly annihilates the line between two-dimensional and three-dimensional art, resembling a painting so convincingly that even the sharpest-eyed viewers might mistake it for a hand-painted artwork. To set up the piece, the artist utilized ZBrush, Blender, Substance 3D Painter, and Marvelous Designer, along with Marmoset Toolbag to handle the rendering stage.
