This Jurassic Park-Style Survival FPS Will Feature T-Rex

In FEROCIOUS, dinosaurs didn't go extinct but evolved and changed over time.

FEROCIOUS, a survival action FPS from a solo developer OMYOG, has received updates: the Jurassic Park-style game now features such species as Tyrannosaurus rex.

The creator showcased the impressive WIP 3D model of the creature, pointing out that dinosaurs in FEROCIOUS are not paleontologically accurate. The game implies that the ancient creatures didn't become extinct but continued to evolve, which resulted in changes in their body posture and limb size.

The adventure is set on an uncharted island, where you need to survive, adapting to its conditions and using its dangers to your advantage. The world of FEROCIOUS features fascinating landscapes and natural scenes. Check out the game's trailer and take a look at this ocean waves simulation, plant physics, a water simulation with a crocodile-like creature, the ocean shore, waterfall created with a custom generator, an island coast scene, and more:
