This Skyrim Mod Lets You Store Loot in IKEA's Kallax Bookcase
And this is not a joke.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has received an official mod from the Swedish furniture giant IKEA featuring one of its most popular furniture pieces – and it's free to play.
Meet KALLAX STORAGEBORN, a free creation for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from IKEA, which brings the famous Kallax bookcase into the game as your sentient talking companion, voiced by Matt Berry.
"Skyrim's true enemy was never Alduin. It was clutter. IKEA brings a new quest, new loot and a sentient shelving unit companion to the encumbered adventurers of Tamriel."
Once your inventory gets too full, you'll be sent to a long-abandoned Dwemer emporium, where a quest begins to uncover the story behind its mysterious master. Along the way, the Dragonborn faces off against Skyrim's sworn enemy: clutter.
During your adventure in the fantasy world, you build your own Kallax Storageborn, which will have the ability to collect loot, tidy up your homestead, and be summoned with a new Thu'um. Then, you can take your storage companion everywhere and complete all the possible quests and missions. You can also summon Kallax by shouting "IKEA."

If you play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on PC or Xbox, you can download the mod from Bethesda Creations online or in-game for free. PlayStation players will be able to download it in the near future.
Recently, IKEA also partnered with Xbox to introduce a new line of furniture for gamers. The teaser shows a cushion based on the familiar D-pad, and another appears to be a giant analog stick:
As for The Elder Scrolls, the highly anticipated sixth entry in the franchise is reportedly two years away from release. Fans have been guessing its name, with theories that it will be Sentinel, Dominion, or Iliac Bay.
