This Train Accident Animation Has a Very Unexpected Ending

I love it, but some might hate it.

Michał Mroszczak, a.k.a. ultek, seems to enjoy car crash animations, and this time the artist shared a train accident that has a very unexpected ending. When the animation starts, you think that the truck will be destroyed when the train hits, but then it's the other way around. I think it's kind of satisfying to watch, but maybe some will think it's frustrating.

The artist explained that he couldn't use motion blur, so some parts glitched and randomly rotated by 360 degrees during the simulation.

He also mentioned the animation was made using assets of their upcoming sandbox game, FPS. You can learn more about it by following the developer on Discord.

Check out another animation by ultek that we shared in the past.

Take a look at the other ones he shared on his social media:

This one shows how many iterations an animation can need to get the desired result.

You can also take a look at Jesse Pitela's real-time car crash simulation that we featured a few months ago.
