Tutorial: Creating an Energy Shield VFX in Houdini & Unreal Engine

Here's a great new tutorial by Rebelway on creating an energy shield VFX for games and animation.

Rebelway, an online school dedicated to teaching its students to create top-quality visual effects, has published a new hour-long tutorial that many aspiring VFX Artists will definitely find useful. In this tutorial, 3D Generalist and VFX Artist at Funcom Jesse Henning explained how to create a stunning energy shield effect using Houdini and Unreal Engine 4. The artist demonstrated the entire workflow from start to finish, showed how to work in Unreal's Material Editor, and shared some tips and tricks behind the project.
